- Are there lockers or a checkroom available?
Coats and any valuables can be left at the staffed checkroom. Lockers are also available.
Bringing in large and unwieldy items and especially suitcases, backpacks and bags larger than A4 size and thicker than 10 cm (including wheels, handles and front and side pockets) is not permitted. We recommend that you do not bring these.
The management is not liable for theft and/or loss of items of clothing etc.
- I lost something during Gastvrij Rotterdam. Who can I call to ask if it has been found?
Lost something during your visit to Rotterdam Ahoy? All lost property is registered through iLost.
Please check iLost first to see if your item has been found. If your item is not listed, it has unfortunately either not been found or has not yet been handed in.

- Can I smoke, e-smoke or vape?
Smoking, including e-smoking, is prohibited in Rotterdam Ahoy. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking areas.
- How can I participate as an exhibitor?
Would you like to participate at Gastvrij Rotterdam? As a hospitality trade fair, we offer various opportunities to present your company or product at Gastvrij Rotterdam. You can of course build your own stand, but we can also provide one for you. You can choose from a luxury stand construction package of 2.5 m or 3.5 m high. A basic furniture package is also available. Additional elements can be ordered separately. Contact the project team for more information.
- How can I register to visit Gastvrij Rotterdam?
It is not yet possible to register for Gastvrij Rotterdam 2026.
- What is the best way to reach Ahoy?
Public transport
Ahoy is best reached from bus and metro station Zuidplein. It takes five minutes to walk to Ahoy. For timetables, check the websites of Dutch Railways, RET and the general public transport site: www.9292ov.nl.
Car
Rotterdam Ahoy is easily accessible by car from Ring Rotterdam South (A15). Read more about the accessibility of Ahoy. If there are any special circumstances (e.g. road works known to Ahoy), this is indicated in the agenda on the website.

- Is there a Kiss & Ride lane to pick up or drop off someone by car?
Next to the forecourt of Ahoy it is possible to stop briefly with your car to pick someone up or drop someone off.
- Are there hotels near Rotterdam Ahoy?
Yes, there are several hotels near Rotterdam Ahoy in a range of price categories. Many are within walking distance or easily accessible by public transport. Book your hotel stay here at the best available rate!
- Where can I park?
The parking lot of Rotterdam Ahoy has room for 2500 cars. You can book your parking ticket in advance for €20,-.
If you have not purchased a parking ticket with parking guarantee and the parking lot is full upon arrival, we will refer you to the covered Zuidplein parking garage (a different rate applies here). Or you can use the various P+R facilities, including at the Slinge and Capelsebrug metro stations.
- Do I get an exit ticket when entering the car park?
You will receive a parking ticket when you drive in. The system at the barrier registers your license plate number and prints it on the ticket. You can pay for your parking ticket at the pay machines at any time of the day. When exiting, the barrier opens automatically by license plate recognition.

- What can I do if the parking lot is full upon arrival?
If you have booked a parking ticket in advance, you can always park in our parking lot.
If you do not have a parking ticket with parking guarantee, we will refer you to Q-park Zuidplein (across the street from Ahoy) or possibly to P+R Slinge.
- Is it possible to charge my electric car?
Currently Rotterdam Ahoy does not have charging stations, so it is not possible to charge electric cars on the Rotterdam Ahoy parking lot. Of course we think about the future and invest in sustainable solutions.
- From what age can I visit Gastvrij Rotterdam?
The minimum age for visiting Gastvrij Rotterdam is 18 years. This also means that babies and young children do not have access to the fair.
- Is Gastvrij Rotterdam accessible for disabled people?
Yes, Rotterdam Ahoy offers many facilities for disabled people. There is a cab rank, special parking spaces in the large parking lot, elevators, specially adapted toilets and more. If desired, you can borrow a wheelchair at the porter's lodge upon showing identification.
- Am I allowed to bring a bag onto the exhibition floor?
No, it is not allowed to bring bags onto the exhibition floor. You can leave your bag at the cloakroom or in a locker at the entrance.
- Do I need to show identification?
Yes, you will be asked to show identification at the entrance. Please make sure to bring a valid ID with you.
